This document reveals how early the Central Intelligence Agency began planning its most extreme measures. Beginning as early as 1952 the CIA was compiling names of possible targets for assassination. The document also highlights a strong anti-communist theme that serves as both a focus and justification of action taken.
This document is important to my research because it reveals just how early the US began to prepare actions against Guatemala.
